When playing Omaha poker, players are allowed to follow variation of betting structure, but in most casinos, only two common structures are followed.

No-Limit Omaha Poker
There are a number of players who prefer playing no-limit Omaha poker, but you find such combinations in very rare cases. As Omaha poker follows strict set of betting rules, so no-limit betting does not function well in this game. Due to this, most players who wish to play high action game always follow the pot limits when placing their bets.
Pot-Limit Omaha Poker
This variation of Omaha betting has gained popularity in recent times. In present time, this is also one of the most preferred Omaha poker game. The rules of this game are as follows:
- Players are allowed to place their bets in the clockwise direction. The player sitting next to button places small blind and the next player in row places big blind. The next player is the first to act and place his bet.
- He has options to fold, call or raise the big blind.
- The minimum bet placed is equivalent to big blind, but this is generally the condition if no other player has placed his bet.
- To determine the maximum amount of bet, players need to count money that is present in the pot including any bet that is placed on the table before calling for the raise.
- Players are allowed to raise bet that is equivalent to the earlier bet placed. The maximum raise can always be equivalent to the total amount that is present in the pot. So in generally you need to add pot value + your call + betting amount.
- Players are allowed to raise any amount that lies in between maximum and minimum raise.
- The size of the blind determines the size of the game. Players are allowed to buy in maximum 100 big blinds and minimum of 20 big blinds.
Fixed-Limit Omaha Poker
In this game all betting limits for playing the game are fixed.
- The bet size determines the game size so if the game is for $2/$4 then the small bet is $2 and big bet is $4. These are also termed as blinds.
- The game is similar to any community game and is in clockwise direction. In this game the raising and betting are generally in the increasing order. Betting is usually done in increments of small blind.
- While playing turn or river round, the betting is done in increments of big blind.
There are a number of casinos that allow a maximum of three raise when playing the game.
